This being our first caravan, we do not have any expectations. Right now, we have corresponded with the Caravan Leaders, Bobbi and Jim, by sending payment for the caravan. They, too, are Airstreamers, as will be everyone on this trip. In fact, this is the main reason we purchased an Airstream--we wanted to participate in a camping club that traveled with other RV units like ours.
However, we suspect that our leaders are on the other side of the digital divide at this point! We do not have any pre-trip materials to tell us an itinerary. Note to self: If we ever lead a future caravan, email out the itinerary to those going so people can plan ahead. We are supposed to get our "notebook" on the first night that we gather. We were provided with six campground addresses where every 3 days or so we meet as a group.
This should be interesting, but we are up for the challenge!
